When: 23-24 August 2010
Where: West Park Conference Centre, Dundee
The CRNS Annual More Than Furniture Conference provides a forum for furniture reuse projects and those working with homeless and homelessness issues to celebrate and share good practice, facilitate networking, boost morale, plan for the future and contribute to national strategy.
This year’s conference comprises two days of events. The Accredited Reuse and Repair Network event, on Monday 23rd August, is for CRNS members only and is aimed at any member currently undertaking reuse activities. Read the programme for the day.
The main conference on Tuesday 24th will provide a variety of opportunities for delegate interaction. There’ll be a series of facilitated discussion and workshop sessions on topics including open procurement market opportunities, measuring environmental impact and thinking creatively in the economic downturn.
Ray Georgeson MBE, who brings thirty years of experience and involvement in waste and resources, will be chairing the event. Representatives from the Scottish Government, Shelter and Quarriers are just some of the speakers who will be joining us on the day, helping us to deliver an informative and motivating programme. Read the programme here.
Many thanks to those organisations involved in this year’s conference:
